Rain

Its raining. Summer here was about 4 weeks.  Move here, you gotta learn to love the wet.DSC00397

Since I may have published a comment on the Archdruid Report about a possible community up above La Tigra, in the  Eternal Forest for Children, I feel incumbent to post something in case I’m tracked down to here.  Its real!  Won’t be easy though, no electricity for one thing but there is a big river, so …anyhow I’ll post if I ever get any visitors.P1000064

The Golden Toad

The Golden Toad

Some toad scientists are crowd funding to mount an expedition to find the Golden Toad, extinct since 1996. They got to find it at the “golden hour”, the few moments during the year it surfaces to procreate, if its still around that is. Going to be looking near here, in Monteverde, where it was last seen. Someone tell Reverend Billy of the Church of Stop Shopping.

Planting Cacao

Now every time we take the short walk to the river, we gonna plant 4 or 5 cacao seedlings in there. incredibly rich virgin soil, like compost. Gotta chop out a little space among the roots. Along the Rio Burrito, its raining this morning, good for the garden.
